Clothes built for a kid who doesn't sit still
Boys' clothing at Sven & Yalva is built around one honest observation: a 2 to 8 year old will run, climb, spill something, and do it all again before lunch. So every piece in this range starts with soft, breathable cotton that moves with him instead of restricting him, finished to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 so it's safe against skin that hasn't toughened up yet, and dyed with azo-free colour so
nothing harsh sits against him all day.
This isn't occasion wear dressed down. It's what he actually lives in, made to survive the washing machine as often as it survives the playground.

Tees for everyday wear: Boys T-Shirts — soft cotton tees, including kala cotton styles, built for daily rotation.
Ready-to-wear pairs: Boys Co-ord Sets — matching top and bottom in one, so getting dressed on a school morning takes one decision, not two.
Joggers, cargos & lowers: Boys Bottoms — baggy cargos
and twill joggers built for climbing, sitting cross-legged, and everything in between.
What sustainable actually means here
We're not going to claim our cotton is organic unless we can show you the certificate for it — that's not a claim we make lightly. What we can stand behind, garment by garment: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing on the finished piece, azo-free dyes, and kala cotton in select styles, a variety that needs far less irrigation and
chemical input to grow than conventional cotton. That's the sustainability story we're telling, and it's one we can back up rather than one that sounds good on a label.
Sizing that doesn't guess
Boys' sizing runs 2Y through 8Y across the range, and every product page carries a size chart based on body measurements rather than age alone, because two five-year-olds rarely wear the same size. If you're between sizes, our general rule is to size up for a child who's about to hit a growth spurt, or size true
if you'd rather it fit well right now.
