Refund policy

At Sven & Yalva, we want every purchase to feel right for you and your child. If something doesn’t work out, we’re here to help—within the guidelines below.

1. RETURN WINDOW

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
  • The return request must be raised within this period through our customer support.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS

To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and unworn
  • Original tag must be intact and not broken
  • Product must be in original packaging
  • No stains, odours, damage, or alterations

Returns that do not meet the above conditions will not be accepted.

3. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are only applicable if:

  • The return request is made within 7 days
  • The original product tag is intact and not broken
  • The product passes our quality check upon return

Once approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 7–10 business days after inspection
  • Important: If the product tag is removed or damaged, the item will not qualify for a refund, even if returned within 7 days.

    4. EXCHANGES

    • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
    • Exchange requests must follow the same eligibility criteria as returns.
    • If the requested size or product is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be offered at our discretion (only if tag is intact).

    5. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

      The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

    • Items with broken or removed tags
    • Products purchased during sale or clearance, unless defective
    • Items showing signs of use, washing, or damage

    6. DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ORDERS

    If you receive:

    • A damaged product
    • A wrong item

    Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and order details.

    We’ll arrange a replacement or refund after verification.

    7. RETURN SHIPPING

    • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
    • We recommend using a trackable courier service for returns.

    8. CANCELLATIONS

    • Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
    • Once shipped, cancellation requests will be treated as return requests and evaluated as per this policy.

    9. QUALITY CHECK & FINAL DECISION

    All returned items undergo a quality inspection.

    Sven & Yalva reserves the right to:

    • Accept or reject a return
    • Deny refunds if the product does not meet return conditions

    Our decision in such cases will be final and binding.
