Comfort first, so the rest can be about her
Girls' clothing at Sven & Yalva starts from the same place as everything we make: soft cotton, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, azo-free dyed, sized for real kids aged 2 to 8 years. From there, this range is where we get to have a bit more fun with it: prints, dungarees, dresses she can actually run in, without
ever trading comfort for how it looks in a photo.
If a dress can't survive a birthday party or a jog across the garden, we don't put it in the collection. Everything here is made to be worn hard, not admired from a distance.

Everyday tops: Girls Tops — casual tees and co-ord tops in soft, breathable cotton.
Matching sets: Girls Co-ord Sets — coordinated tops and bottoms in sustainable cotton and breathable double gauze.
Dresses & frocks: Girls Dresses — playful prints in soft, breathable fabric, built to move rather than just to be looked at.
Dungarees: Girls Dungarees — our most-loved category, for a reason: one piece, endless movement, easy to pair with anything underneath.
Bottomwear: Girls Bottoms — joggers and trousers for the days a dress isn't the plan.
Why dungarees are the one we'd tell you to try first
If you're only going to buy one thing from this range, make it a dungaree. It layers over a tee in cooler weather, works alone in summer, and doesn't restrict movement the way a fitted dress can. It's also one less outfit decision on a rushed morning — which, if you have a 2 to 8-year-old, is worth something on its own.
The same standards, none of the compromise
Every certification claim we make for boys' clothing applies here too: OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on the finished garment, azo-free dyes, and kala cotton where noted on the product page. We don't relax those standards for prints or dresses just because they look more delicate; softness and safety are non-negotiable regardless of which collection a piece sits in.
Sizing runs 2Y to 8Y with body-measurement charts on every product page, same as the boys' range, so you're fitting the child in front of you rather than guessing from age alone.
A size chart is available on every product page. Sizes run 2–8 years — if your child is between two sizes, size up.
